The purpose of the course is for learners to let go of their inhibitions and share information in a
way that allows for optimal success. This is a masterclass, so each learner will get individual
feedback and criticism. Different people have different strengths and weaknesses, this
masterclass is an opportunity to learn from others and awaken our powerful presentation giant
within.

Topics covered:

Overcoming the fear of presenting/talking to others

Creating appropriate and effective content based on audience

Using breathing and vocal techniques to improve your presentation

Pitching to different audiences

Using technology and visual aids to assist your presentation

Fielding difficult questions

Process:

Learners will do a presentation and receive feedback. Learners will prepare a second
presentation that will be assisted at each stage: brainstorming, content, delivery, voice and
speech work, technical and visual aids. Learners will receive feedback from the group as well as
from the facilitator. Learners will be able to take home a VCD/DVD of their work.
